Hey I bought a head, all ready to go excep no cam gears and no studs at all. I got the cam gears and the studs switched.

I was just comparing the markings on the cams on this new rebuilt head, and noticed they are different. On the cams in my new head, there is a B on the left side of the intake cam, and a B on the right hand side. On the exhaust cams, it has an H on the left, and an A on the right hand side of the exhaust cam.

On my old head (came on a rebuilt engine I bought), both the intake and the exhaust came have a B on the left, and an A on the right.

Attached is the rebuilt head so you can see what I mean. I already searched and there wasn't anything on this specifically.

it seems they are different cams, and therefore they have different specs as far as in what degrees they open @ tdc.

but in my book i couldnt find anything with an "H" code.
