This is on my 1997 TSI AWD AUTO completely stock except for the BOV. It stutters the whole way until redline. Any suggestions? I'm guessing boost leak?

Timing and O2 look good for a stock car. I would pull the plugs and have a look at them. If they're tan all the way across, you're fine, very white is lean and black is rich. Now since you still have the factory ECU with the factory A/F, you're probably a bit rich. Running a boost leak test would be a great idea anyway since it'll help performance.

As far as your misfire and stutter, I would look to spark issues first. Drop in a set of NGK BPR6ES gapped to .028 (Autolite 63's work too) and change your plug wires. Most misfire issues are cured with simple fixes.

Let us know if that does it,

Once again, Andy is absolutely correct. :thumb:

One other thing to check would be fuel delivery. I had a pretty good stutter last year and it turned out that the problem was with my fuel filter. Man, you should have seen the crap that was in that thing. OMG

Nathan, has a great point. I focused on spark (lack of coffee again) but fuel is critical. If the filter hasn't been replaced in the last few years, or if you're not sure when it was last changed, swap it out.

Nice catch bro!

680CC injectors, fuel pump, gauges, and i'm looking for a safc right now.

Anything over 650's are tough to tune on an AFC due to the airflow correction required. If those are PTE's, they actually flow at 650cc since PTE rates them at higher fuel pressure. If you run into a tuning snag with the AFC, Nathan (spyderturbo007) is your new best friend since he's very well versed at getting the most out of it safely.

When I bought the car the guy told me they were 680's and he thought it was a 255 fuel pump, but i'm not sure if i can tell for sure. I remember the injectors had a green tip if that means anything. Thanks for the fuel filter idea, I never even thought :(

I was just searching around and remembered another question. I just replaced my alternator which had died and all three lights were on as usual. And now my brake light stays on and i'm pulling code p1500 from my logger. I'm guessing maybe the 2 are related and noone seems to know how to fix p1500.
