Hey all I did some searching on this and couldn't find anything, not really sure what you'd even call this but either way as a joke I was going to take the bov pipe off that connects back to the intake on the turbo to get the bov sounding real loud for my friend who just bought a turbo bmw.
I took it off and yes I capped off the hole in the turbo intake; the car idled and I went for a little spin but during my drive anytime I wanted to idle it would just die. Anybody got any ideas?

Thanks,
Brain

That is venting your BOV and that is not good at all.

Do a search on "venting the BOV" to find out why this is not a good idea.
