hehe kinda dumb question but whats stock boost on my car? just wondering if its worth it to install a boost controller and gauge without bov thats all. thanx

The spring in the 16g wastegate is 17psi without any vac source. With a vac source you should see close to 10 maybe a little more.

My bone stock talon boost pressure.
Also put it on the dyno just to see since I have not seen a video of any bone stock talons on the dyno.

1G auto is 10.4 and 1G 5spd is 11.1 psi. I believe the 2Gs are all ~11 psi stock.

Agree with this because I had a stock 1g auto and it read 10-ish on real gauge and my stock 1g manual read about 11 lbs before turning up boost.

I also remember reading Motortrend's June '94 issue testing the first 2g's (both talon + eclipse) and specifically saying 11.1 lbs

So I've looked at this post and received some info that I'm curious about my 2g. I can assume I have stock 450s(they are black) I have an after market recirculating bov it looks to be a knock off greddy, fmic, turboxs mic, and I'm running a td05 20g. What could be wrong..wastegate not set right, bov leaking. I have blt at 15 psi and it is slightly leaking from the bov. Oh I'm also only getting 13psi. I see that some are getting 15-18lbs.
