Hopefully one of the USA contenders makes some passes in Aug as there are still a couple big races to come.

I'd imagine AWD Motorsports would have the best chance seeing as they have been on a record setting mission this year .

I haven't heard anything from DogBox Racing nor the AMS guys after the mile run where it caught on fire

Not too sure if it was just a rumor floating around but i did hear that the owner of the STM NZ Evo was incarcerated for drug dealing but i believe the guys at STM are trying to keep the car in their camp.

This whole "record" thing is getting out of hand. Currently they hold the "Quickest Evo" record. Kiggly Racing still holds the "Fastest Mitsu on Gas" (which is another record they were claiming at one point) with 8.332@168.

Pina wouldn't catch that record in a million lifetimes. Andre is a good guy but not even in the same league as English Racing all by himself. English Racing isn't hunting for the Evo record at all. The only really fast car that they are running currently is Jeff Bush's 1G Auto AWD. He's at 8.84@156. The white 8-sec ER Evo from last season isn't running currently and I seriously doubt there are plans for it this season.

Its the fastest "late model" evo. They hold the mph and et record. APC in australia currently hold the record for the world's fastest evo. They went 7.94.
