Still having motor problems here, please help.

I still cant get it to turn over, the battery is charged up and everything is good there. I can hotwire the starter and get the motor to turn over there but when I go to turn the key still nothing happens, i just here the relay click. Anyone have any ideas on what the issue may be? I still have a few connectors that i do not have plugged in but I should have a few left over as I removed my a/c, egr, and installed a mbc. Please help! I want to get this running before winter!

You don't say if your car is an auto or 5-speed. If it's a manual trans try disconnecting the clutch safety switch and see if that get the starter to activate. On the automatics the inhibitor switch on the trans does the same thing.

If it doesn't, you need to get the wiring diagram and follow the starter circuit back from the solenoid until you find where the battery voltage stops.

If you have an aftermarket or factory theft alarm that makes a difference too.

Ah I never thought about the theft system! There was one installed on the car, but it was just a cheap one and I just unplugged it for now, I'll have to get that hooked back up and try it, thanks Steve!
