hey guys, feel like im :beatentodeath: here but the car still isnt pulling right

there is NO boost leak -- cant tell you the amount of times ive hooked the boost leak tester up to my car in the past week

ive been told by you guys and friends that it could be two things

turbo creep or clutch

symptoms:

in 3rd 4th and 5th the car creeps past my preset boost ( 12 psi -- ive got my MBC screwed out quiet a bit)

she ll creep up to 14psi and 15psi and sometimes she ll hold solid at 12 through all gears -- 2 out of 10 times shell hold all the others it feels sooo much like boost leak ( basically it feels like the clutch is slipping -- this is my first turbo car so im just going off what im feeling in all the other cars ive owned )

1st gear pulls hard and quick up to 12psi and holds great

2nd gear will go up to 12 psi and then as 5-7k rpms come, she declines down to 9psi --- my buddy said its probably just the turbo tappering off because its a t25 as in tooo small and the turbo just cant keep up with it -- in his opinion -- i thought personally maybe the clutch is starting to slip at that rpms -- but wouldnt it do that in 1st to???????

as for turbo creep

i have a 3inch down pipe with the a stock cat welded to the end of it and a stock cat back -- got an injen intake and a MBC but thats it for mods -- again its a stock t25 ----- can this thing really boost creep on me -- ive heard of boost creep on a full 3inch exhaust on this stock turbo but thats even rare

just need some help and opinions from you guys,, this is soooo frustrating

the car is great i love it to death but i just want it to run right

ATM I still have the stock t25, and I have mods, including custom 3" o2 housing back exhaust, and my t25 creeps a little. It is set to 15psi, it will creep till about 17 then drop to 14 to redline. I wouldent worry too much on the t25 personally. Also this happens to me when my clutch slips. At first I thought it was creep until I looked at my RPM's and saw my rpm's jumped.

oh and to add to this --

i do get air -- when im boost leak testing -- coming from the side nipple on the valve cover --- NOT the PCV valve in the back

i also hear the oil in the oil pan bubbling -- ive read that its just a seal in the turbo that doesnt seal when its not running

ya sometimes it feels like creep -- ill get the 2psi increase and then it will settle down -- other times ill get obvious clutch slip

if your getting that as well then i guess the only thing to do is new clutch and eventually port my t25 -- which sucks because id rather port something worth while LOL

anyone else with some ideas or experince

My buddy got boost creep when he put on his downpipe. But he has full 3in exhaust. I would try to fix it as soon as possible. The t25 is maxed at 14psi and anything above that and you could be doing damage.
