still getting cyl 3 misfire code

I've owned this car since may and I always had a cel for cylinder 3 misfire. The car runs fine. I recently changed the plugs and the cel finally went off. A few days later, the cel came back for the same code. I cleared it and it came right back on after five mins, this time blinking occasionally.again, the car's running great now that I put the proper plugs in, and I assume I would notice if I was misfiring. Wtf?

I had the same problem on my previous 420a, turns out bad plug wires making a poor connection was the culprit. New wires and was good to go.

Try swapping spark plug wires and see if the misfire follows that wire. If not then I would try swapping #3 injector with 1, 2 or 4 and see what happens.

Yeah I suspected the wires. New ones should be here in a couple days. Gonna try that before I mess with the injectors. The fact that the light went off when I changed the plugs makes me think the wire is shot. Also, I checked the injectors with the old screwdriver stethoscope trick and they were all clicking. Hopefully it's nothing. More to come...
