Even after replacing my blown t25, i am getting a little bit of white smoke coming out the exhaust. Do you think I took out a head gasket as well or could it be something simpler?

The other problem i have is this...i am running low boost on the t04b because my setup is not capable of supporting it fuelwise right now. When i accelerate somewhat quickly and then come off the gas, the rpm's fall to zero and the car dies...why is this? It doesnt do it if im driving it slowly.

It could be a head gasket, but it doesn't have to be. Another cause is blown turbo seals, but since you just replaced the turbo that probably not it.

The car dying thing is probably because of the ECU getting reset when you unhooked the battery during the turbo install. Give it a day or two and it should be fine.

you know what..im getting the same exact thing.
I don't think its th ecu because i havn't reset mines.
Sometimes when I race and decelerate, rpms drops to zero and car dies
My car is blowing white smoke too but only when i really step on the gas, not during idle or anything, head gasket problem or turbo problem?? ill find out this weekend...but my t25 got hella shaft and in/out play, going to be replace it soon.

I would then suggest start narrow things down,

1. Check for boost/vacumm leaks. Make sure you do a real one, be real detail about it.

2. Check the mas/intake pipe/turbo compressor inlet, make sure all the couplers are nice and tight.

3. Measure the resistance of isc, tps, ips...etc. make sure they're all adjusted properly.
http://www.taboospeedshop.com/diagnostics.htm I know it's for 1g but I think it will help.

Good luck guys.

I just replaced my blown T25 with a 50 trim and after I'm on it I'll have a ;little white smoke, but that is just leftover oil in the exhaust.... normal.

Also, my car wasn't started for a month and mine will die after I have the revs above 3k and stick it in neutral, but it is getting better now as the ecu re-learns its shit.

Ok another one with the same problem, i replaced my t-25 because of bad seals, got the t04b and still smoke, fixed the return line and put a reducer on the feedline to minimize pressure a bit and it still smokes. I could see smoke coming from where the flex section is on the dp and out the tailpipe as well. The compression is fine is 180 in all 4 cyls, and the car never had a smoking problem.

Maybe is oil still sitting around places in the exhaust or maybe the seals are not too good to begin with, i don't know it's a new turbo i don't see why the seals should have any problems but yeah i'm still smoking and i don't know im going to give it a week or so and if not talk to dave about it.

Are you guys using the stock return line? Maybe changing it to a -10AN kit might help. Also check your pcv valve, home made fuel filter/breather filter and make sure the crank case is vented properly.
