Just got done with a 6bolt swap in my 2g. Baiscly the only problem is that once i hit the throttle the RPM keeps going up. I would say it goes up 2k rpm on averge depending on how much gas i give it. Something you should know is that when i was taking the 7bolt out i squashed the Cruis control box (black metal box). It seems to be in tact but im not sure. I'm thinking it could be the spring on the TB and that time will get rid of it. Any tips or ideas that i could try out? Its a 60mm 1g TB that was sitting for a couple of months. Thanks in advance.

Make sure the tension on the TB cable is correct. Also I would remove the cruise control to make sure it is not the problem. Personally I would leave the CC off, but if you enjoy such luxury then you can put it back on after ruling whether it is a problem or not.
