The other night i took my car out and i noticed something strange. I haven't had time to look myself cause i've been swaped with work.

When i turn the wheel to the left, the car feels like there is a flat tire on the front passenger side. Any ideas if it's the axle? Also once i gave it slight throttle, i would hear a slight whine on that side (only when throttle was applied).

First, check the power steering fluid level. If it's low, then it will have similar symptoms.

If your level is good you'll next need to check the tie rod end bushings and see that they aren't torn. While you're down there, check all your other bushings for anything that needs to be replaced.

If neither of those are the problem then it could be that the tie rod is bent or your power steering pump is dieing or you have a torn line. If you have a torn line then it will first look like you're just low on your levels, but then it will come back right away.

it's weird. i started the car up today, 3 days after this happened and no noise. I'll see what happens after i drive it more

My friend had a similar problem that we solved:

He figured out that his problem was the power steering pump. So we just removed it and the AC until we could get a new PS pump. Once he got the new PS pump we installed it and the AC and put on the same belt from before. We had to replace the tensioner also because the adjustment bolt was bent. When we started it up we followed the instructions from a Haynes Manual to bleed the system of air. After we got the fluid levels filled correctly it kept squeaking, it was late already so he drove it home and we decided to fix it the next day. When he got home he tried to locate the squeak and the belt suddenly snapped and blew apart at idle. He replaced the belt and now everything works completely fine, although the first belt had no signs of wear or imperfections...?
