Starts but doesn't move.

Alright, I went to my shop and well my mechanic told me he drove the car into the garage no problem but when we started it up. The darn car didn't move! I'm thinking it's my clutch but it was fine 7 hours when we drove it in? It doesn't move in reverse or 1st at all. Please helpp!!! I just got everything ready for safety and my heart sunk (felt like it) when i tried to back it out.

Check your cotter pins on your shifting linkages. Start with the two on the trans

I agree with checking the linkage cable under the hood.

Is it grinding at all? If your clutch is bound up some how if you put it in gear while the car is off and then try to turn it on it will jump forward and stall, if you are going to try this remember to use the E-brake.

Sounds like the t-case possibly locked up.
