Okay. I was pulling into our schools parking lot and this chick pulls up next to me with a Eagle Summit. I look at it and see that it has a 1.8L engine. Now the stock 4g37 only has 8 valves but this summit had 16. Now I know there is an affiliation between these to companys from the past with the eclipse and talon so is this the same engine in any way and is it possible to take a Eagle Summits cylinder head and put it on my motor? I also need to know if the fuel injectors from a 1990 Laser RS Turbo will flow or be practicle on a 1.8L Turbo? I'm going to build up an engine. I'm going to have the rods shop peened, the crank have work done on it. If I do pull the balance shaft out, will it casue annoying viberation or ruin anything? I want an estimate, a ball park guess on the horsepower ratings i can expect from this setup. I know a lot of it has to deal with ambaint air temp.so I live in Michigan. A ported and polished cylinder head with the valves haveing a three angle job put on em, ported and polished mirage turbo exhaust mani, flowing into a 3000GT TD04 turbo, 2.5'' exhaust, A4 intercooler, Laser RS injectors with a 3000GT fuel pump if possible? take off a/c, balance shaft. Is there any other mods i can do to get more power? or to make the bottom end tougher? Don't ask me why I want to build up a 4g37. I like to be different and having a turbo 1.8 Clispe will be sure different. I also plan on putting new stock pistons back in so i'm not messing with the thermodynamics and upgraded rings. I'm going to have a custom gasket made for the planned 15-17 lbs of boost I want to run and have the cylinder head o-ringed. What kind of blow-off valve should I use? I know that needs to be feed into the intake side of the turbo again. What else can I do? I know theres a lot more to it than what i've mentioned. If ANYONE can get me one of those turbo manifolds i need. PLEASE contact me. I want to do this and have it done right. When it is done i will bring it to a dyno and post what I have someday.
