Start up turbo motor with NT ECU?

I just swapped NT to turbo motor but still have my NT ecu in the car. (Turbo eprom ECU is at dsmlink).

If I wanted to start up the motor for the 1st time, can I hook up the NT ecu or will it even start?

Id say it would start, but thats about it. The ecu doesnt know it has 450's in it , and there is the extra wire from the mas.

I think the injector resistor box is going to cause you some problems. I would wait for the turbo ecu.

The resistor pack is for the injectors, not the ecu so that won't cause it any problems. Not sure what it would think about the extra input from the knock sensor/ bcs/ fuel pressure solenoid/ 7th maf wire, but it may fire up just fine.

, I don't know the truth so I'm not going to push my opinion as the truth. It seems pretty safe to me and the damage done would be to your nt ecu if anything I'd think. It's not like you're going to toast the engine doing this somehow.

What about the ecu not seeing the map all toghther. I think it would not start up unless he put like a missing link or somethin connected to the map.

1g's don't have map sensors, therefore its not a problem for him.

You 2GNT-turbo guys have some crazy ideas about "The Missing Link." It's not something us 1G N/T guys need. Besides, all he's doing it starting the car and it should work fine.
