If any thing you should use it like this: 2,5" in and 2" ut.
But then on the other hand alot of people seem to think they suck. But that might be just because they but them on wrong, wouldn't that be funny.

Expansion moves things guys. Hot air is less dense and much easier to move and WILL flow faster. now im not saying its a good thing to promote hot air into the engine as the faster movement will definetly not make up for the density of a cooler charge as the less oxygen we have the less power we will make...this is why we have intercoolers though. You notice why lots of people go like 2.5" to 3", or why from the manufacturer the compressor outlet is much smaller than the rest of the IC piping? Dynamics dude The cooler air slows down quite simply...

no

your turbo outlet is a mere 1.75" or so, so plumb it to the smaller of your two end tanks. take the 2.5" outlet and plumb it to your tb.

i have a 2.25" in and 2.5" out on my hks.

it sucks.. it sucks and it sucks again.

flows are horrible, its a little better than the stock smic, umm it flows horrible, custom piping, little better than stock.

Over all the supra smic works alot better and cost less and is cheaper to do and it has a sleeper affect.

pushed out the front bumper, banged in my frame trying to make it fit, pushed out my sidemaker light all the time, scraped all the time, a biatch to make brackets and piping for, the piping gets in the way of the air filter etc etc

screw that thing i hated it

alot of people don't like it and don't know anything about it,it may not flow great,but its a stock IC, what do you expect? if it has greater cooling capacity than stock and out flows it by a bit,i'd say its a decent upgrade depending on your goals. i would'nt buy one unless it was cheap and i could find a place to bend up some piping for a reasonable price.

Would you care to comment on how well it withstands heatsoak, or perhaps lowers air temps? Starion IC is a cheap mod that MIGHT help a 14b. There are folks out there who modded the endtanks, and got decent results however. Oh, and SEARCH!

Im winning an auction for a Starion FMIC for only 70 dollars. Is it worth the such low price? Its in decent condition. Also is it worth the money in performance. On a stock Setup how many ponys can i expect out of one of these things VS the stock SMIC.

These intercoolers suck. The flow crappy and just arent any good. Get a supra sidemount if your going the cheap way.

Yeah you can pick a supra up in good condition for 150+
I dont know personally but I have heard the same about the flow on these starion/conquest intercoolers.
