where is the website for the "new 1g ss kit"?

horrible news today...

took the car to the shop to fix an electrical problem and apparantly they checked the compression, after noticing the idle surge, and got 150, 0 , 25, 75. idk how much of this is true but i'm gonna do the test with my buddy...

how would my car feel if i had that kind of compression when i am boosting? it felt just fine...

we talked about getting a new motor and what not, what are the options that i have?
 
Phew that sucks, but I would do the test my self. When you do it keep jumper cables on your car so you have good power while cranking over.

The car would feel weak from what I have heard. local buddy said his car didnt feel like its self so the comp test came back at like 32 psi on the 2nd cylinder.

You could grab a new motor....or see where exactly your losing the compression then decide.

Also are you getting anykind of smoking?

i never saw the car smoke, although the car is running a bit rich
bcuz the previous owner vented the BOV. so when i boost a lil bit of smoke comes out the exhaust but not much at all.

Well technically you dont want any smoke. Since you do have it, what color is it. If I were you I would put everything on hold untill I did the test myself. Also are you venting now? What bov do you have? because the 1G leaks at idle and under slightly higher than stock boost conditions.

dark smoke comes out of exhaust after i boost and shift to the next gear, not much at all. turbo xs bov, vented

Thats gasoline I believe, and you not going to want to vent that BOV let alone keep it. I havnt heard many good things about those. If you insist on keeping it I would recirculate it.
Is this the one you have ? If you unscrew the "horn" fitting and hit home depot for a straight tube that will thread in so you can recirculate.

its just like this one but a different color with smaller holes and they are all around the bov. its super loud and extremely hard to recirculate. its not that i insist in keeping and venting it, its just that i just got this car exactly two weeks ago, so the funds are low. i'm trying to take care of most of the tune up stuff before this and now this compression crap comes up.

If you got the car 2 weeks ago and the compressin IS infact that low....I would be going to get my money back. Pa Has a 30 day thing. I would look in to the compression quickly and if you find it is low. I would get my money back. Also Im usually good at thinking stuff up and I have a few Ideas on how you could recirculate, but I would probably have to be there to make it happen. I would get a 1G Bov. Goodluck.
