Most of what I have read and learned here pertains to performance in the quarter mile. I've never really known much about standing mile competitions and the more I watch videos and read articles, the more I'm interested.
That said, I'm still a newb to DSMs. I just want to know what it would take to make one of our cars perform well in the standing mile (200+ mph).
I know a lot of power is needed, but a lot rests on the gearing too, right? What kind of gearing are these people running to acheive such high mph? Just curious, I'm not trying to build some 200+mph car or anything, Lol.
