GSXTCY said:siueclipse: No more promoting yourself. Additional promotion could end in suspension.
siueclipse said:sorry, people just started asking questions

You can answer questions without throwing in a sales pitch or offering products.
Take it to PM's.
I think the mods are referring to the Vendor Policy - anyone selling a product or service is considered a vendor. Vendors are not allowed to promote their business in our tech forums. If you're selling something, you need to look into advertising on the site to reach our audience. We don't want people spamming our forums trying to gain customers for their business - that's considered self promotion. For more on our vendor policy, read here:siueclipse said:Ive only done this maybe one time. I stated I was sorry, what more do you want.. sheesh. I don't understand the rule of self promotion. Care to explain?
BakerGSX said:You can run anything you want on it. It is a 100% full windows OS so it's just like having a desktop in your car. We know a guy who has one he built and he used wireless to sent all of his information from his logging software to his home PC from the garage. I would imagine if you wanted to take it a step farther bluetooth would not be a bad idea either.
suicidal2af said:I realize that, I've contemplated a carputer for quite a while. I just wanted to see if anyone actually *was* running the link on it.
BakerGSX said:Oh, I see what your saying and yeah that would be sweet.
