cheap ebay screens

Has anyone ever tried any screens like this? I'm obviously not looking for anything outstanding, just to look cool and watch some movies. thanks a lot

This is one of those things that you just have to view before you buy.There are tons of no name screens that are wacthable,but there's some that just plain suck and are about as wacthable as a gameboy with no batteries.If you want a cheap option on this you can check out your local swapmeet or flea market,I'm sure you can find some sheap screens there that you can actually view before you buy.My .02

Yeah, With something like that... I would think you definatly get what you pay for... You might be able to view it head on, But what about fron an angle, The view may be distored?

well i bought one and was very happy with it. it looked great. better then any non vga screen i have seen in a car. i loved it. i will try to find a link to the one i bought.

Why are they so cheap, If they're good? The price is definatly very cheap!

It's Pyle. I can tell you, your screen will go in a few months probably. Look for Lilliput or Xenarc, they make hardcore screens that are proven to be amazing. Their 7" touch screens go for ~ $300-$400 which is a very reasonable price to pay for quality touch screen. I personally bought a Xenarc one, and couldn't be happier. No glare, nice and bright, no dead pixels, smudges can't be seen on it, and very responsive (to the touch or remote).

My opinion, go for quality. Especially with electronics. Notice the difference between a cheap sub/headunit/speakers and a quality one? Exactly the same thing with this. You DO get what you pay for in terms of electronics.

have you tryed your local sound shop... they sometimes have screens on clearence and they also install.... just a thought

I bought this screen for my friend over 2 years ago of ebay from this same seller and this shit shows beautiful. At first when I bought it we were both skeptical and that night we installed it we were both nervous to see the picture but boy did it took us by surprise. The picture quality is crystal clear and you'll turn your car into a movie theater. Although you'll need to get some type of video source though like a dvd player or you can hook it up to your PS2 like we did. I f you want I can get some pics for you later tonight.

just so you all know. tft and lcd screens are made by on or two companies. then they are sold to different companies likeyle, lilliput, ect..... so the tft screens that are tru tft are mostly the same.
