Cheap OEM ebay Head lights

Hate to rain on your parade, but the auction clearly says oem "STYLE" headlights. That being said, I like these a ton better than the halo style headlights.

very good find i may have to order myself a set if they work out good for you keep us posted.

I've seen OEM-like replacement lights. Not the ones for the DSMs, but other vehicles. They are just like the original. I doubt there will any problems with these.

Nice alternative for us. Time for resale values of used OEM lights to go way down.. thanks again ebay!

I posted this find on DSMTalk and I'm really stoked about them. I'll be ordering some soon.

OMG If they had those when I bought my halos I would have got those for sure. The only reason I got the halos is because I couldn't find any OEM style lights for under $200. :hmm: Maybe I can sell my halos to my dumb friend who really really wants them for $100, spend the extra $30 and get these. It sounds cruel but he would probably still go along with it even if he knew the whole deal.

You should post pics of these after installed so we can all see how well these OEM alternatives are.. The price for new headlights is crazy.. Its nice to see that some company was smart and realized there is a demand for stock 2gb headlights.

Just got them and so far so good. Ill see how the fitment are on these lights when I get my front bumper in a couple of day.

Found some ugly gaps but dont really care. The edges needs to be clean'd up a bit. Other than that its all good. It came with bulbs too.hahah

I believe the three largest aftermarket manufacturers of OEM replacement headlights are all companies in Taiwan.

One is called DEPO, the other is TYC, and the third is Tah Yi Industrial Company Ltd. but supposedly their quality is similar to each other.

On or in the box your lights came in does it identify the name of the specific manufacturer?

DEPO:
Taiwan auto Lamp, Asia auto Lamp, manufacturer of auto Lamp,Lamp, depo auto lamp, automobiles accessories , motorcycles accessories,Ming Yang

Uh.... you don't suppose.....

The brand is molded into the edge of the lens, on the front. Where the DOT approval was supposed to be.

I'm be curious about a beam comparison between these and oem headlights, and of course the fitment as well.

If he's swapping on a new bumper at the same time, fitment issues may partially due to the bumper.

Defiant,

Maybe you own one of these specific headlights yourself and have the benefit of looking at the real deal as opposed to these pics, or perhaps you have bionic vision. Mine is 20/20 and I'm also using a 42" monitor and 2 other people here also can not make out anything legible from what you circled or on the other pics either....

Hah, and I thought my dim 17" CRT was holding me back. Glad I'm not missing out.

Can you elaborate on the ugly gaps? Where are they?
And how well does the unit appear to be sealed?, i.e. do all mating surfaces appear flush?

Check pics. They are sealed up pretty well, I dont see any open gaps on the mating surfaces.

I out lined it a bit to see the gap inside. In between those, you can see right through the inside of the casing.
