ok heres what happened I was driving last night and decide to do some manly driving
I floored it all the way from 2nd to 3rd and then I let off and it died it only happened twice so far but I'm just curious about it, also sometimes when I let off and step on the clutch
the idle goes really really low do knowledegable fellas think that it might be a vacuum leak or something.

Just for grins, I'd check the computer for codes. Autozone does this for free. You coudl have most anything causing that. Start with the codes and if there are none, at least we have that out of the way

Good Luck

Do you think there will be codes eventhough the cel light is not on.

I have the same problem, when the car is at high rpm's and I push in the clutch, the car stalls. I have been told if your battery has been disconnected recently and your car has been tuning for a certain setting, this causes the car to go back to stock settings and it takes a couple runs to get the computer to find its tunned settings........my car is in storage right now so I can not tell you whether or not this works,(by driving, and the car fix itself). Just an option.

is it electrical or mechanical? i beleive my alternator is shot and down i tap the gas pedal or release it sometimes the car will die.

when mine stalls on me it only happens when I am getting on it and then suddenly push the clutch in and then the car's rpm's drop real low and it stalls no matter how fast I am going. Like I said someone told me that when you tune your car, with dsmlink like mine, it overwrites the stock settings and so when the battery is disconnected the settings are lost and I was told to just drive my car till the computer got used to the tuned settings again.

Do you happen to have a lightened flywheel or maybe your bov isn't recirculated? Also the thread starter is N/T so he's probably got different problem and this it the wrong forum for this by the way.

yes, I do have a lightened flywheel, and my bov is recirculated. And I do know this is the wrong forum for this, however I can not move it and I just wanted to give some advice. Thanks

Ah ok I get you. True, with the lightened flywheel this is going to happen till everything can "learn" to compensate. Mine does the same thing after I disconnect and reset the ECU. It stops stalling and goes to normal after probably a day of driving around. Also I set my idle to 900rpm's as well to help even more.

i just skipped what everyone else said, so if its already stated sorry----are you recirculating your bov---if not that may be your prob

Thanks for the help, this makes sense. Someone else told me a similiar statement. Hopefully it works.....my car is in storage so I will have to wait till the dang snow melts. Thanks again. :thumb:
