Stalling under corners

I did a search and couldn't find anything.

I have a 96 Esi. My car is stalling under hard right turns. Only right turns. Engine doesn't die, but it loses all power like you took your foot off the gas.

Curious what the problem might be. I can't really think of anything that would effect it.

Does it even with a full gas tank, so fuel sloshing shouldn't be it. And the fuel rail is pressurized so that shouldn't be it either.

Dunno. Open to ideas.

Check your wiring harness. Pay special attention to the leads running to your CPS and CMP. (Crank and Cam Position Sensors) My folks' Neon did this for a while, only theirs would flat die on right handers under power. Does it still happen when you simply coast around the corner? If your harness comes into contact with the EGR tube (which runs right along there next to the intake tube), you can melt through the insulation and get intermittent shorts in the system from the wires coming into contact with the engine block (which is grounded).

Check that harness. Especially by the EGR tube. I've seen cam position sensors, injector harness, and even remotely mounted batteries short out on this bastard. Every time, the car will just die without warning. Usually as the driver is making a turn...

Ok, thanks for the tip. I'll start checking into those wiring harness's and see what I find.
