I always love the look of a car (rwd) that had the deeper offset rear wheel. I didnt think it was possible on a AWD dsm, until I saw this picture.

I want this look on my car! Is there anything that has to be done in the rear i.e. spacers, to get a deeper offset wheel to fit in the rear?

Thanks!

Form without function.

It's AWD. Staggers are for cars that can use it. We apologize for the error, but the board had somehow distorted the true color of the car shown. Notice that it's a European Targa, something you want if a sunroof doesn't supply enough leaks into the headliner for you.

Oh, and it's probably in France.

You could save a lot of expense by just having a windshield banner printed up that says "Clueless Poseur".

^^^And he bashes yet another thread. I also like the look of staggard rims. you can get away with it on an awd as long as you do the math and make sure the ratating diameter is the same. As long as you choose a rim tire combo that has that then it should be ok.

I like the wide body look with the deep dish rim, but to Defiant’s point… you’d ruin the handling by just adding width to the rears. Our cars would probably benefit more from a slightly wider front tire than rear. Anyway, I never understood why the makers of that kit didn’t flare the front as well.

Im running a staggered set up but I did my homework. In my set up there is only .31 OD difference overall.18x9.5 and 18.10.5 with -7 and -13 offset thing handles like a beast. Yes i am widebody.

I would like to see some pics!

i am looking for 1g info. But I'd like to see what it looks like on his 2g.

I think if you wanted a staggered rim look, you will have to mess with the offsets in order to keep the tire size approximately the same.
