Anyone have photos of their 2gs with a set of Staggered fit wheels?

I was thinking of doing this for looks only. But I still don't know. The width difference is 1.0" and the differences on the offset is 35mm and 40mm or 38mm and 42mm. But I'm still unsure. I wanted the looks of the deep dish, but last vehicle I had a set of staggered fit wheels on was a FWD vr6 Jetta and it did not look right cause they were fitted wrong.

You wont find any pics. Staggered wheels are for RWD applications only, and for RWD cars that have suspension designed for it. If you go staggered on your car it's going to look dumb and it will ruin the driving dynamics of the car.

Furthermore it would ruin the diff in an awd car with the quickness

if you want to get rims staggered for the RWD LOOK i would suggest checking out axis wheels. they make rims that only have the staggered look not the staggered sizes. The line for the rim are called maxxis lip line. hope that helps! i was about to get the axis sevens with the maxxis lip looks real mean but they didnt come in black with mirror lip, only polished.

I can see why you responded this way, but note his signature. He's got a FWD not an AWD, as his screenname would suggest. That said...

Staggered wheels on a FWD car is posing. But if it floats your boat, go for it. Just be prepared for people pointing and laughing.

I used to have a 95gsx. And the wheels I was looking at are AXIS and EXEL. I just like the deep dish look. I most likely wont, but I was just wondering if anyone has done it.

I think sport max has some deeper dish wheels, If you had a wide body kit you could get a deep dish wheel and be able to look more like it belonged. The staggered look might not do you so well since the back doesn't look wider than the front like most rwd cars. I would look into sport max or axis both have some nice rims with a lip. If you got alot of money look into some Volks won't have the big lip, but will be the lighest best looking wheels. My friend got his Ce28's in and i could lift them with one finger with out any distress. If you're car is black like your avatar look into the ce28's or the te time attacks that are black with the red strip around the rim their so hott.

I had a 19mm offset on the rear of my fwd. 42mm on front Car was widebody though.

Larger wheels up front smart, larger wheels in the back on fwd just for looks. I've seen people do that stuff with Srt-4's. If you can't get traction larger wheels in the back aren't going to help. If you going to do staggered wheels, at least do a widebody. or do a widebody and put dished wheels all the way around.

My friend converted his 91 awd to rwd, though it is now rwd i dont think staggered wheels would look right. I saw some pics in another section on here of a 1g and the wheels he had all had a lip on them. The car looked amazing.

Found it: Scroll down and you'll see what I'm talking about
