squeeking over manhole covers etc

my car squeeks, loud.
does it over small bumps like manhole covers and wehn i shut my door.
Is this possibley a symptom of aging/blown shocks?

First, make sure nothing is loose, esp lower balljoint, which our cars have a recall for. Then, go back and spray some WD-40 on all your joints, especially the ones on your upper arms, ect. You can also remove your spring and shock unit and move the suspension up and down by hand to pinpoint where the sound is coming from.

You said "manhole"

I suspect the top struct mount bushing is probably shot.

I'll be putting in new shocks within the next 2 weeks so when I do that I'll inspect that bushing and balljoint as well as tightening/lubing everything up.
