Squeaky Tokicos

I searched and couldnt find anything. I have tokico suspension on my 98 GSX. They squeak horribly when I turn the wheel or go over speed bumps. Does anybody else have this problem and what can I do to solve it. It drives me crazy when people constantly tell me i need to fix it.

you dont have polyurothane bushings do you? my friends subaru squeeks like a mother, from his poly bushings on his suspension

Double check your front balljoints.

If not, verify the Tokico install was performed correctly. Loose bolts often squeak.

Yeah, sounds like a poorly lubed balljoint or possibly the bushings on the swaybar. There's normally a pin that runs through the balljoint. I'm not sure how it is on the DSM's but my guess is that it's the same. If so, just get some lithium grease spray and grease up that balljoint as much as you can.

If it is a balljoint problem and it's reached the point of squeaking, it's too late for grease.

The lower lateral arms - the balljoints that normally fail - are only $30 a side, and they're usually quick and easy to replace.

Check if you have camber kits also, mine squeaked horribly after a few months.
