So I'm starting to work out all of the kinks on my new Spyder, and this one has been bugging me the most. The latch that pops my trunk\gas door in my car is stuck in the open position for both of them. I haven't really had a whole lot of time to take a look at it.. but really, how hard of a part is this to replace? Any idea on cost?

I'm taking the car down to Florida in about 2 weeks and it'd be nice to be able to keep the trunk closed on the way down! :sneaky:

More than likely it is not the handle but the cable or stuck latch. The latches are pretty common for rusting and usually end up needing replaced. Take the handle off the car and remove the cable form the handle and test the rear latch by hand (pliers) to see if it moves, if it does then it is a stuck cable. good luck
