Spyder: Roof brackets bent! Common problem??

I was looking for info about the roof brackets on my Spyder. Apparently this is a common problem? My roof does not go down on its own, I have to pull and tuck out the 2nd last cross bar so that the roof can move down freely.

I heard there is no recall on this. Can I bring it to a body shop and have them fix it?

How much will it cost to fix?

Anyone have a clue what im talking about?

Its frustrating!
