Ok, well I *think* I have solved my more serious overheating problem, so now onto the little shit...

The under-rearview mirror lights in my spyder are out. I'm 95% sure it's not the bulbs, I think it's a wiring/electrical issue. I pulled one of the bulbs, and it didn't look burnt out, but I figured I would replace it anyway (worth a shot for $1.79 :p). To no avail.

So does anyone know where this wiring runs to, so I can try to track down the problem?

A wiring diagram, or anything w/ pics would be especially hossy.

Thanks in advance

I had the same problem...And for me it was the Door Jamb Switch.

Well they also have switches on them, and flipping those does nothing as well....do you still think it's the jamb switches?

I'm more than happy to replace them, as using my cellphone as an interior light isn't much fun :p

check what, the door jamb switches?

If something was wrong w/ them, would they be cutting off the flow of current to the lamps?

Nah, my shisty radio shack meter ceased functioning a copule months ago, and I haven't cared enough to go get a new one yet.

And yes, the triggered spotlight spends a lot of time on the passenger seat :p

I was planning to check the flow to the dome light on thursday, when I'm rewiring all the audio, at my boys house.

I have a suspicion though that there probably isn't though, since I would imagine the wiring for that is run behind the radio, and all the audio related wires were quite savaged, and that whole vicinity isn't looking too nice in general.

Anyone know where the wires from the interior lights (under rearview) are run for 2g spyders?

I'm pretty sure they're going to be the culprit, a wiring diagram would be outstanding.

Rockwood? Where the hell is Rockwood?

Anyway, I'm a dumbass, I was checking my coolant earlier, and decided to double check the fuse box. I had confused the radio and interior lights fuse, swapped them, and it worked. I'm quite glad I broke the plastic cover to one of the lamps off now... :p

Thanks for all the suggestions, even though it just turned out to be owner incompetence.
