I've been searching the forums looking to see what to do but I couldn't find it, maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

The fron floating rib on my 98 gs spyder broke right at the end on the passenger side and the piece was missing by the time I got the car.
I was wondering if there was something I could do to either add to the end of the bar or how to just replace the bar outright.

Is this expensive to do? What steps do I need to take to remove the bar and replace if its needed?

Thanks!

Thats the one. Thank you very much!

The old one just snapped like a twig from what I could see.

Ah yes. Mine broke too; i think they designed it that way on purpose, so that you keep replacing it every year. i was considering replacing it with $15 welding steel... quite do-able i asssume

Mines broken too, along with the bracket pieces.. which are bent and the rivets are kinda broken a little.. i wonder if i buy this new piece and kind of bend back the brackets and re rivet it together it shoudl work fine?

It should. You may need to drill out any questionable rivets and of course pop rivet the whole thing back together, but yeah it should work.
