I just installed the 2" drop sprint springs for my tsi awd since the car had a nasty gap...i could almost fit both hands in it. Well with the springs installed the front is SLAMMED. There is no wheel gap at all and my 17" rims fills it perfectly. The rear, however, still has a slightly large gap. I can fit my fist in it. What is wrong?? Did I put the wrong springs in the front and back? For the front I installed the 2 springs that had coils wound more tightly together. For the rear I used the springs that were wound further apart. Was this correct?

I don't think so. The sprint springs I have on my 1g fwd are big and spaced out on the front, and narrow and close together on the back.

It seems to me like you botched the install. The springs from either side should have looked like your stockers other than being shorter. That cannot be easy to screw up really. Normally with the rear springs, the coils at one end are wound together really really close - normally touching each other when installed on the car and compressed. :thumb:
