Hello all! working on a friend of mines 1GA and I'm coming into an issue that I'm not familiar with, hoping to have some light shed on this injector duty cycle dropping at wot and making the car break-up and hesitate..

I have done the basic checks to make sure everything is mechanically sound and there are no boost leaks.

So far I've only put the correct plugs in (ones I pulled out were BPR8IEX) and gapped them down to .025 along with new wires that were supplied. It seems to have cleared up some of the break-up but only slightly. I'm leaning more towards wiring/coil or PTU,

I have a fuel pressure sensor in the car and it is going up with boost and isn't dropping out so I don't think it's a fueling issue quite yet..

Here is a log I took of the initial issue. Thank you everyone!

You need to enable simulating narrowband.
It is now but either way without that or not it doesn’t change the WOT issue

It's probably from a 'noisey' MAP. Is it attached directly to the manifold? It may also have a small boost leak.

Additionally I'd enable airflowsmoothing with SD on the misc tab [uncheck the box] then mess with Airflowsmoothing in DA. That alone might do it.

I’ll give those a shot and no it’s on the engine harness on the firewall, I’ve always left airflow smoothing off on SD cars since I’ve felt it always makes the car run delayed but I’ll give a new map sensor a shot and try to see if airflow smoothing makes any changes.
