Spool RPM poll. Well sort of poll?

I have been having a little trouble wraping my head around spool rpms and such so I want to ask a few questions to come to a conclusion.

(when I say full spool I mean if you mbc is set to 15 the rpms you are at when you hit that psi.)

1) 1g or 2g?

2) Size of your turbo?(eg. t25,14b,16g,20g etc)

3) Auto or manual?

4) Any mods to exhaust or intake side that would effect spool rpms(Downpipe,porting etc)?

5) Full spool rpms from a dead stop in first gear?

6) Full spool rpms from rolling around 2000-3000 in 2nd or 3rd gear?

If I have missed any thing then just add it. I have done a lot of searching and thinking about this but there is really no thread on this where everyone just puts their results for all to see. Thanx for the input and hopefully I will come to a definitive conclusion.. Please answer all the ?? if you are going to participate 3 of the 5 won't help me very much. Thanx again.. TTY ;)

You definately have helped me so far just want to get a consensus. i wish i could get this into the turbo thread instaed of the newbie one but it will have to do.. Thanx

1. 2g gst spyder
2. ported evo16g
3. manual
4. exhaust side - sbr cast manny, tubular o2, stock downpipe and cat, 3" catback/n1 muffler,
intake side - K&N cone filter, stock intake tubing, 2.5" custom bent piping to fmic, 24x12x3 ebay fmic, more 2.5" piping, greddy type-s.
5. non applicable, dual stage mbc set to 10psi in 1st, reached that at around 2.5k. ####in fwd wheelspin.
6. 3rd gear pull. started off at 2.5k and reached full 20psi by 3400rpm. pulled hard to redline.

Set at 15lbs
Evo III manifold, entire exhaust is stock
Stock 14B
K&N filter
First gear I want to say around 4k, it goes so fast.
On a third gear slow roll, I say around 3200-3400.

4. exhaust side - 3'' RNR o2 eliminator turbo back with high flow cat

intake side - Cone filter, 3'' intake, 2.5'' intercooler piping w/ 12x28x3 bar and plate FMIC, MAFT

9:1 compression, P&P head, 1mm OS undercut valves

5. never looked at a 1st gear pull, always watching the road
6. 3rd gear pull, hit 15psi by 2600 rpms. 5th gear pull, 15psi by 2600 rpms
 
Thanx alot so far guys this is exactly what i was looking for. There is more people out there with there car info. Come on guys I think the conclusions will be beneficial to everyone.. Well Maybe only me.. TTY :D

3. Manual
4. 3" Full exhaust - Stock Manifold and O2 - No Porting - DejonTool SMIC
5. Injen Intake - Buschur Upper, Custom Lower (hard pipe)
6. 15psi at 2800 - 22psi at 3400 - 3rd gear
7. About the same in first, but with a 16G and GSX gearing, first is awfully short.

Yes but now i decided i was going to get more info and compile it into something everyone can use. Bad idea? :confused:

not sure about full spool in 1st gear
3rd 17psi by 4100.

4)Stock exhaust, K&N super huge monster filter. :D
5)Full spool dead stop- 14psi at 4200ish give or take 200
6)Full spool rolling in second gear- 14 psi- downshift into first to around 4500rpm, nearly instant spool. Maybe a 2 second delay from the time the car actually hits first gear.

2)EVO 3 B16g(unported)
3)Manual
4)2.5" punishment racing pressbent downpipe w/ test pipe and RNR 2.5" catback, GM MAFT in blowthrough(so no mas before turbo) just stock intake pipe, and KN air filter
5)Dont know, i dont hit full boost in first, FWD spinning
6) in 2nd and 3rd, i see 16 lbs of boost by 3000-3100(but with my awesome phantom knock :barf: , i see full boost at like 2400, but timing is like less than 5 degrees so i dont go anywhere)

6. 2nd gear is great :) I hit 16psi by 2900rpms. It pushes me back in the seat. Cant wait to finish the rest of my mods.
3rd I get full boost by 3100rpms

4) Lack of air filter, ported 2g manifold (runners and dividers ported completely out), 2.5 in o2 housing that dumps to the atmosphere, 3inch back after that, Zero muffler at all.

5) Tire spin, starts at 3000 rpm

6) Tire spin again, however reaches full boost(29 psi) by 3800-4200 rpm's, reaches 15 psi at mid threes
