a few friends and i are heading to kcir this friday, i was wondering how you guys faired on launching at the track. last night i practiced a few times on a desolate stretch of highway, and at about 13psi on my 14b i can spin tires (dont know if its all 4 or not) for a few seconds. im alittle concerned about breaking something since its never spun before (just put in an act2600 full face disc)

im assuming this will be based on track prep maybe?

i have 215/40/17 tires....nothing really for a siewall, how will this do?

If your spinning then your not going to break things, its when you grip hard that you stress the drivetrain the most.

Try lowering your launch RPM a little bit and see if that helps.

It's useless practicing launching anywhere other than the track. The "bite" at the track will be more radical. Just don't dump the clutch. Slip it fast. If you smell clutch, slip it a little faster.

Lower the tire pressue too.
