Wassup guys, so i recently removed my gauge cluster to change some bulbs, and took off the speedometer, but i must of put the needle wrong, because its off by about 10mph how do fix this??

Get a friend and get on the highway. Match speed with cruise control and set your speedo needle. Might be a wise idea to do this at various speeds to calibrate right, but better to be sure. Also, obviously keep the clear plastic off the gauge cluster while doing this and windows closed to keep wind from interfering. Might also be a good idea to have another person in your car to hold the steering wheel for you while you adjust the needle. I also say use a fork or similar object for quick removal of the needle. Good luck.

if you have no friends use a GPS. i ran into same problem.

Also, a pro-tip for the future. Unless you're switching out the guage faces, you shouldn't ever need to pull the needles off. The recalibration can be a pain, so it's a good way to prevent having to do it more than you need to.

Yeah that gps os a great idea, I forgot about it, he'll, if dude doesn't want to go through the trouble of recalibrating the gauges, he could just use gps for speed readings all the time.... :thumb:
