I have read over and over through out forums and online and I just wanted to see if anyone on here can get me a straight answer. So speedo dont work, not sure if it ever did just bought the car. Replaced VSS sensor still nothing. Gauges I can replace but lets say it still dont work. Then what? I read someone said if your reverse light fuse isnt working then the speedo wont work. I havent tested that theory but im going to double check. I see this problem like more then anything. I have a 420a motor. As for wiring im MECP certified so I can rewire anything but would anyone know where and how to even start a rewire from a good sensor to custerif I needed to.? Thanks and sorry to post another topic about this but I just cant get what im looking for

VSS pin 1 (yellow wire) goes to PCM pin 44;

VSS pin 2 (black-green) goes to PCM pin 43;

VSS pin 3 (yellow-white), assuming you have a M/T, goes to PCM pin 66, and speedo (combo meter connector C-05 pin 36), and to data link connector pin 14.

First check these:
The 10A "gauge" interior fuse must be ok for the speedo to work.

PCM pin 43 should be internally (within PCM) grounded.
PCM pin 44 should have 8V on it.
PCM pin 66 should have 5v on it with nothing connected to that pin (it's an internal voltage divider pulled up to 5V).

Speedo C-06 pin 10 wire (black-white) should have switched +12v on it (through the fuse).
Speedo C-05 pin 23 wire (black) should go to ground.
