just call ams. Its not that hard and i got through first time both times. I got my feramic clutch last week but haven't put it on because there seems to be a higher demand on shift forks than anything else in the dsm community.

Gabor is a local, and he probably just had a mood swing that day or somthing. But the clutch is good alot of us have been running the clutch for over a year now and mine has about 20k on it and still pulling constant low 1.7 60fts. Streetablity is great. And AMS has sold out of them twice now so its got to be good right?

Sorry for the late response guys the office and shop have been extremely short handed this week due to a nasty Flu going around. We have yet to have a day where we are all at full strength.

The Freamic clutch uses a reconditioned stock Pressure plate. New Fingers plate all that good stuff. The disk itself is what holds the power. Its a Feramic based disk. The material itself has a much higher Coefficent of Friction then most other clutchs'. The clutch gets hot and simply bites...not slip. A clutch gets its holding ability from either clamping force on the PP or the disk ....or in some cases a combination of both. We have several HIGH hp cars running this same clutch and have nothing but great things to say about it. I curently have one on my car and love it. Some people really cant get over the stock feel of the PP and put on a 2100 plate for added pressure and to increase its holding ability so that is always an option. If you would like to buy just the disk they go for $250. So far we have thrown over 500 whp at this clutch and it seems to just want more.

now on to availability. The disks and PP's are due to ship out to us on Tue the 27th for arrival thurs. the 29th or Fri the 30th. I hope I have answered all your questions and once again I appoligize for the wait.

Thanks for the update Eric.

1. So you're saying you use a completely stock pressure plate - stock clamping force correct?

2. Is the clutch fully feramic on both sides, or is it a combo i.e. sintered iron on the pressure plate side / organic material on the flywheel side?

Please bear with me, I love asking questions~!!! and i probably will have more later! hahaha :thumb:

Its very close to a stock pressure plate. Slighty more clamping force and pedal pressure.

The disk is Feramic on Both sides of the Disk
