Spark issues help!!

Ok so I have rebuilt my car and i was starting my car for the first time and it would not fire at first i thought it was timing after further checking of the timing everything was perfect I even went as far as checking the holes in the Camshaft as well as TDC and the cam gears all looks to be ok so I did a spark check and 1,3,4 cylinders are Not firing # 2 did fire shocking the heck out of me. any Ideas of what I can check or do? thanks guys!

When you say "spark check" what exactly do you mean?

My first thoughts would be to first check the coil pack, then spark plug wires, and then if you haven't found the problem yet try the injectors.

I have gotten faulty spark plug wires and coil packs straight out of the box or that have failed within a week. This being said, I'm not sure if yours are new or reused.

Pulled the plug and checked for spark on the VC while the plug is in the boot

there might be a spark but it might not be powerful enough...

I would check to make sure you're getting fuel to the cylinders, so check out the injectors.

Also, check your spark plugs and if you have another set, gap those and throw them on.

There really is only a few things that it could be- Fuel, Spark, or Timing related...
