Upstate SC here too. Im in the Greenville area. Ive been away for a while but Im back now. Hoping to get my DSM up and running soon. Id still be down to come out in my jeep or on my bike and hang out.

Spadepro, Palmetto, do you 2 ever go out to the greer drag strip on thursday nights? It's only a few miles from my house. Ive run my bike out there before, but can't run it again until I get full leathers. I'll be running my car once it's going. I just need some fuel lines, a couple gaskets, and some brake parts and my car should finally live!!

I have never been to Greer. When I was in highschool, we all used to go out to Ware Shoals, but that was 18 years ago now. I haven't been to a track in about 16 years. I like watching drag racing, but I really like road course, type stuff.

I assume you are the guy I spoke to about the parts today.

Got the car aligned today. Going to put the new valve cover on here in a few. Bought 2 new tires, and need to go get the key to the rims all the way in columbia >< (tires are showing wires in the front). Found out while i was getting aligned that my cv axle boot is broke, so bought a new one will be here tuesday. In the process right now of trying to find someone to fix my damn widow that i cant figure out for the life of me.

It was the motor, but the wires on the spool, and spring all poped out everywhere on me, and i ant figure out how they go ><.

Got the new valve cover on looks awsome. fixed a boost leak too. Heading to columbia right now to get the key for my rims so i can change there tires out tomorrow.

We just started it 2 months ago, so there aren't a lot of cars out there yet. But last there was my buddies wrx, an sti, a turbo golf, a regular impreza, and a scion tc. We are still trying to get more people out.

Anyone wanna meet up at a lake maybe do some grillin. I mean we got the weather for it.

I would love to but I'm still playing the transmission waiting game. Warrantying Quaife parts isn't a whole lot of fun.

That trans is taking along time. I would be mad at this point rofl.

but still anyone game?

I'd like to meet up sometime spadepro. My car still won't be going for a little while, but I'd like to check your's out. Seneca is pretty close. I met palmetto_tsi today, he came out and got some parts from me. Seeing and hearing about some other local DSMs is helping to motivate me to get mine on the road too!

Well the 2 people that posted above me, and me are willing to meet up sometime. got any ideas on where?

So, a pretty good storm blew through the area today. I was standing at my sliding glass door watching the rain and debris blow when a small piece of a limb from a tree came blowing in from the North West and landed square in the middle of my hatch glass. It shattered the entire thing and allowed the pouring rain and hail to soak the interior. But the good news is after I pick up my head (thanks Spadepro) and drop my rods off at the machinist, I will have everything to make her run again. Suckiest of luck here lately.

wow you took a tree through the window, and witness it. Make sure you check the condition of your tires, and brakes before you take off!

I have had the cv axle for about 1 week, and still havent changed it LOL. My oil feed line is cracked, and leaking oil :/ so gotta work on that too
