Hey if anyone is interested my buddy and I are holding our monthly car wash meet Saturday night at 9:00pm. We are going to do at the car wash next to the Harley Davidson dealership across from Walerbears Surf Shop in Myrtle Beach. The address for the Harley shop is 4710 South Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, SC. I don't know the name of the actual car wash, but if you see the Harley shop you'll see the car wash. Let me know if you are coming so I can give you my phone number just in case you get lost.
 
I have saturday off im going to see itll be down to the wire before i can get back to you. I needa do a cv axle, and fix this oil leak i have right now before i go for a 4 hour drive
 
Ok cool, but just to let you know, we are only usually out there for a couple hours or so. But depending on how many people show up, we will probably stay longer. Also we are trying to set up a Sunday drag strip day. We have a 1/8 mile drag strip here where srt4s supposedly rule the place.
 
Yea we have an 1/8 mile and an oval in two separate places. They do drifting and stuff at the speedway on wednesdays and test and tune at the dragstrip on sundays. Oh also if a good amount of people come out saturday we might go get some grub afterwards.
 
Well cancel me for that meet rofl. I went out to the track, and broke the trans. now im looking for a awd 1g trans.
 
Damn Tiger, your luck sounds as bad as mine. Got new tires put on the truck yesterday so I decided it was time to wash her and buff some spots out. Got done and drove to town. My front drivers side caliper was locked up. Aparently I messed up one of the pistons when I did the brakes the other day. They are made of ceramic. They would push out, but couldn't pull back in. Maybe I should just start riding my bicycle...
 
LOL i hear on the damn bicycle. I didnt see any holes or fluid anywhere gunna drain the fluid, and see what i see. I'm about to buy a used but working trans, and get a flywheel, and clutch, and go right back at it.
 
Well goodish news for me, Jon at TRE has sent my center differential to the closest Quaife distributor to him for them to inspect and hopefully I will get it warrantied so my transmission can go back together and get back in my car.
 
I was pulled over on my way to work for having my license plate on my bike "improperly mounted." Then I found out I had an unpaid ticket from 2008 in NC. 250 to pay the ticket. 250 to get my license back. And now ive got court on the 14th for driving on a suspended license (that's the expensive part). Hopefully it'll all get thrown out since I took care of it like the cop said... then I can get back to work on my car.
 
There were a few on ebay for around $500. Or you can try you local pull-a-part. There have been a couple 2g 5spds on here, but I haven't seen a 1g in a while.

GSXrestomod may have 1. I know when I bought my shortblock from him, he said he had built his car using two other cars for parts, but I don't know if he scrapped them afterward or what.

There is a shep tranny and case in the classifieds right now. Lord knows what he wants for it though.

Had a decent turnout at the carwash on Saturday. Had a s2000, WRX Wagon, the Laser and an Impreza out there.
