can somebody tell me what color the 3 wires are, going into the plug that goes into the plug that has 3 more wires that go to the AC compressor, coilpacks, crank angle sensor. I want to know the wire colors coming from the main wiring harness BEFORE it plugs into the sensors or the AC. I just want to make sure I didn't mix any up or cut off the wrong one because I can't get my car to start after my rebuild :thumbdown Bascially I am asking ( don't quote me on these colors these are just examples ) coming from the main wiring harness say there is a plug that has a red, black, and blue wire going to it. Does this plug go into the other plug leading to the AC, Crank angle sensor, or to the coilpacks?? I am asking this for all 3 sets of wires. Thanks.

You are asking about the 3 triangular plugs that are all turquoise correct?

I will check out the wire colors in the morn if I remember, but Im pretty sure the red, blue, and black one is the coil pack. The one with some green wires is somethign I dotn have on my 95, probly a/c.

yea that's the ones. I got rid of my AC as well so I just cut the wires up by the main harness that were the green ones. I also did a headswap and have the 1g coilpacks connected, but I just looked again and the black / red / blue wires I have going to the crank angle sensor ... can someone verify this is right and give me the right color for the coilpack colors? I'll give you a dollar :thumb:

Ok Im looking at the car now.

Coilpack - Big Black Wire, 2 small Blue wires.

A/C?(my plug thats nto being used) - Green, black, and white Wire

Crank Sensor - Big Red and Black wires, Small Blue wire.

thanks. Does the coilpack or the ignition module HAVE to be grounded ( I mean bolted down ) to work or can I just let it kinda lay there for testing purposes? Thanks.

They may have to be grouned, Im not for sure. I bolted the Coilpack to the back of the block, and the ignitor is bolted to my fuel rail, on the inlet end. I just got a longer bolt and it fits there.

I think thats about the only option for the ignitor without extending the wiring harness for it.
