I tried searching google to find out what all it takes to lower your car with lowering springs. I know from experience that I want to have a camber kit because the first car I bought was lowered to only have about half an inch between it in and the ground so it had massive camber problems. Believe me it scrapped everything but at least they used name brand stuff
.
Anyway, I am looking for around a 2 inch drop. I was looking at the Megan racing lowering springs that are 2 inches in the front and 1.9 in the back. What struts would I get to work with these or will the stock KYBs be able to properly use them? I know 2 inches is a hell of a drop so I am really thinking they will have no chance in hell to work properly.
I don't really care to much about my suspension in terms of performance to be honest. I think any improvement will be just about what I'll ever need I'm looking for something that will look nice, feel nice, and possibly a bit of a performance increase.
If you have any information even threads detailing the basics or even more technical stuff I'd appreciate it, or if you know of a good kit that will work out for me.
I'm just looking for the cheapest kit that wont be rough or break and will do at least a 1.5 inch drop to be honest. But I'd also love to understand more of why I should or shouldn't do certain things.
