I have stock injectors. stock maf setup. 255 fuel pump. with the 450 injectors is it worse to have a bore and stuff? I have 8.5:1 pistons and a big 16g running straight wastegate pressure, i get boost creep real bad cause i have 3" exhaust i guess from what i read. is my setup all wrong? pls read parts list just bought aem eugo wideband to learn how my engine is running will have more insight then too thanks. oh and planning to get afpr. am pretty much just trying to prep for ecm link fuel wise.

You need a after maket FPR for the 255, the stock one can not handle that much fuel. You will run rich, you are currently running rich.

The boost creep might be from a restrictive o2 housing. Look into a nice SS one, the Ebay ones have proven to work well (been running one for 2 years in another car, still strong). Its also black Friday season and there are a bunch of vendors who have o2 housing on sale.

I wouldn't say your set up is "all wrong", you just need to compensate for all the modifications. ECMlink will be a very good investment in the future. First purchase i made for my talon, best choice ever.

You will eventually need bigger injectors if you want to max out you 16g. If you get ECMlink then go big or go home, but if you are using something else (SAFC or something, I know you are chipped) 650cc would be you best bet.

goodluck

I don't think a 3 inch exhaust would hinder something limited by your injector size. That 255 is the problem. Get a afpr like this man said and all will be well.If you are still running stock .

or you could get on dsm chips.com he will make a chip with whatever you want as long as you have socketed ecu! u can choose from i think 550cc injectors to 950ccs the price doesnt change and let him know what maf you are goin to run its pretty cheap if you are cramped on the doe deppartment ROFL you know the dsm modow if it anit broke you are! this way its a little bit cheeper than ecm link but deff. if you the money link it!!:thumb:

i had to thread the wastegate rod out about half an inch so the waste gate would open further came poorly adjusted. back to the fuel management part, so i can safley run bigger injectors and inherently more boost with only a chip and supporting hardware? I have one of the dsmchips eprom ecus' so i just need Injectors not sure what size yet i am shooting for 350-low 400 range soo i guess like 800+ cc 40lbs or so? and gm maf/wire adapter, afpr, and i just bought a aem wideband eugo or 30-4100 so i will monitor with that, one last question how do i know if i am getting knock with out ecmlink?

and the afpr and a new updated chip will do a good enough job to run the car as a fun daily driver? am kinda shooting for between 340-380 hp if possible but i also want a good stable setup. thanks. oh and my wide band leans out to beyond 17 at idle is this ok it is perfect 12 +/- under boost but iding and deceleration in gear makes it go way lean is this normal?
