hi all,

well i just want to share with you that i have sold my eclipse yesterday where i almost cried , i spent a forutne on my car on parts and labor and in the end i sold it for $4100.00 :(

now i have a big problem i dont know what to buy there is no car that can satisfy me at the same price ??? i decided to go with brand new car 2010 model.

i am seeing a Peugeot today 308 Turbo 1.6 engine 2010 model and also a Golf GTI 2010 model both brand new from the company , i can take the peugeot at $360.00 usd per month for 5 years with zero down payment and the golf at $480.00 usd per month , also i can get Mustang GT and eclipse GT for 480.00 USD per month.

which one do you think is better guys ( between us i dont like any of the above and i am still in love with my GST eclipse but again i dont have the budget for an evo 10)
thanks

Out of the choices that you listed i like the mustang! I personally am not a huge VW guy, just because they are so difficult to work with. And a good American muscle style car is sure to turn heads on your streets!

How about a mazdaspeed 3? Or what about the focus rs? I would love for the focus rs to be available in the states.

how much is the 2010 camaro RS (V6 w/ 6 speed)? if it's in the price range, a base model camaro would be sweet.

Thank you guys for your comments

i checked today with mitsubishi showroom and unfortunately they do not have the Ralli Art lancer they have something called lancer EX GT instead, it has 150 HP and 2.0 litre NA . 0-60 mile in 9 seconds :barf: and the price is 20000.00 USD

They have the evo 10 priced at 48000.00 USD and they dont want to offer me any service or maintentance agreement they mentioned nicely that its a sports car and we dont offer warranty or guarantee. i also called the insurance company to get a quote and the cost is 2600.00 USD a year . other dealer called me and mentioned that if i am serious about it he will include a 60000 KM guarantee on 49000.00 USD for the evo 10. :D

iam going today to test drive the new 2010 gti and hopefully we will click :)

thank you again

New 5.0 Mustangs look fantastic, and I think they're pretty cheap, Ahh, let me check it out.

Build and Price

I don't know if it'll work for you, but thats for my zipcode, I'm sure it'll be a little more pricey for you but all together about 30 large, not a small amount by any means, but not too expensive either, and with the Limited Slip its a fun car to drive, these things are burnout champs =]

Do they sell Hyundai's in dubai? The genesis is looking pretty nice. I built one on with every option for 27k. If I were looking for a new car this would be top of my list. Same world engine as the ralliart(which is a different motor than the evo) and rwd.

First choice would be the new 4 cylinder turbo genesis, then the turbo chevy cobalt ss, then the raliart mistubishi..

how long are you planning on keeping this car? the gti's are great but but after a few thousand miles and the warranty is up they start to break, and theyre expensive to fix... but overall it is a fun car

i got a mustang GT convertable in the end 2005 model with 30000 Miles on it ( AUTO) its damn fast and by far its faster than my old eclipse. :) i got it for 12350.00 USD pretty good price for it. it has an accident on the right side that was repaired by the company and some minor issues such as the AC needs a retouch and some polish. it needs also an engine mount.

below are the pics for you guys. wish me luck with it , i paid half of the amount and tomorrow i will pay the rest and will be getting it tomorrow evening. i need to sort out the insurance first ( its expensive as well)

I've never been a huge fan of convertibles or automatics, but I am a huge Mustang fan so congrats on your new car. For less then half what that Evo would have cost you, you should be able to make that a sick car if you want.

I think they had that thing on top gear, looks like something I'd have drawn in the 3rd grade. :thumb:
