So im in the market for a car and i came across a V tec honda i got some questions

98 Civic Coupe 5 speed V-TEC / Trade ??

so i love the car it looks so sexy a v tec? o baby . Ok so my dad said hes going to keep the 420a and i can look for a car no more than 3500 and that honda looks good. I found a GST Eclipse with good mods n etc CF hood and just sexy as hell and they SOLD it in one day! i was so mad it was a price i couldnt get over and it was 3,000 for a GST 98 Eclipse with Racing seats Stero system CF hood 18 In rims and it was a grey and black theme. I was mad the fact it got sold i really want the Dsm. oK my question about that Honda is that i see thats has a Swap b20 with v tec and i remember hearing somewhere that if you have a swap engine you will not pass smog? is this true? What should worry about when it comes to the goverment? i live in CA and everyone know our governor sucks some donkey Ballz haha. ANyways any info will help

Nevermind im going to look for a GST. my uncle screamed at and told me to stay away from honda that there motor n cars might be good looking but they f'd up to quick and that a GST turbo eclipse is way better than those civics. I got direct orders so i have to go with a GST which im happy with ### i didnt know i could find some for 3-4 g's i thought they were like 8 so i avoided them but im happy now GST here i come
