Well, winter is coming here, usually i dont drive my eclipse in the winter but now I need to. Since I am sort of a pack for parts, I have my summer set of 18's with 225-40z-r18's that fit flawlessly with my 1.75" drop. Question is, I ahve 2 more sets of 18" rims here all with about 6/32's tread (50%), so what im thinking about doing is putting winter tires on one of the sets of 18's. Well, on craigslist, there is a 350z owner with 4 Dunlop Wintersports snow tires with 10/32's on them. Problem is, the tire size is 245-50-r18. I know that the width (245) will fit, but what about the profile?? I already notice how giant the 40-18's are on my car, should I try these out?! Thanks
BTW, he wants $175 for the tires

I'm just getting another set of 16's to mount them on. Those tires in 16's were under $300 shipped from tirerack and I'll probably get the wheels for free.
