Hey guys im new at the DSM world. So please bear with me. Ive been a diesel mechanic for about 6 years. Osh Kosh, Stuart and Stevenson, BAE, ect.. I just bought a 1991 mitsubishi eclipse GS-turbo. I like it so far. But enough of that boring shit. Im wondering if anyone here knew if there was any way possible to get a set of Snap-On key covers. Easy you say? Not so much. You see, aparently, they are only sold in Japan, Snap-On Japan of course. Ive e-mailed Snap-On, Japan and Snap-On USA. Of course no one is gonna respond to such a minor inquiry. I mean its just a key cover right? Well this is how they look like. Well I tried to copy and paste but for some reason its not working. But here is the link. Can anyone help me end this bullshit. And no I dont want to make my own key cover with a stubby screwdriver handle. Copy and paste this link to the address box.

Pff. Snap-On.

You'll be left looking just plain foolish if you need Dragon Sword Power, and it isn't there. What if you get the call to initiate Megasaur Sequence? Then you'll look dumb.

Like it's not sad enough that you're saddled with a dopey bunch of candy-looking key fobs from driving a Three Diamonds in the first place. :toobad:

And this sort of thing has no room for sissy-boy toppers:

As for that precious little Thnap-Awn, have you hounded Snap-on about it? Try sending a payment to the Japanese site, I'll bet you'll get one back in the mail. Those guys all speak English, they just pretend they don't.

Um...well...thanks for the advice Defiant. Ill never ask such a stupid question again. But really, thanks for the honest response.

It's his way of saying hello and welcome to the dsm community.

No, seriously. Start with your Snap-On man, take a printout of the page to his van and ask what the deal is. After that, email Snap-On. See if you can Babelfish enough of that page to figure out how to get an order in, or cruise some of the sites that have Japanese members and get them to ship them over. If you could get a dozen, or a hundred, you know they'd eBay out in a hurry.

Sound like a bullet proof idea. Okay, Ill try that tomorrow and Ill update you guys. Thanks again for the advice Defiant.:dsm:

Ive already e-mailed both Snap-On U.S.A and Snap-On Japan regarding this issue. As minor as this may be, I want one so bad. Why? Because I can't get one. But thanks for the assistance Defiant. Ill keep you posted. If they ever reply. Thanks again:dsm:

E-mailed Snap-On U.S.A. and they basically told me that the item is available only in Japan. The key topper says "Snap-On U.S.A." but only available in Japan? Hmmm.

Yeah, I got the same not-much-help broad:

Thank you for contacting Snap-on tools. You can not order through
International with a US credit card.

What's up Leo?

I'm working on that Japanese parts thing. It's a little more serious now. I talked to my friend in Japan, and I talked to my friend in the U.S. We are almost set to go. Hopefully by the end of this month or half way through next month, we will be all set. What kind of parts are you looking for?

If you have any more questions or inquiries feel free to contact him at [email protected]. He is expecting y'all.
