I am trying to troubleshoot this smoking problem. It was putting out a smoke screen at idle. I removed the intake from the throttle body so that is pulling air straight in and bypassing the turbo. The smoke went away until the engine warmed up. After the car warmed up, it started smoking/steaming. Could the smoke in this video just be condensation, or is there something that can cause this smoke at idle and not increase when revved? Car is far from stock. The car is definitely spitting out a good bit of condensation.
1)Speed Density System
2)ISC Fiav removed
3)EGR removed
4)3" Exhaust with no Cat
5)Balance shafts have been removed
Engine was just overhauled 1000 miles ago and the turbo was replaced with a brand new to4b v-trim. The oil feed is from the oil filter and does not have a restrictor. I have checked the PCV valve and it is clear and the oil return line is not kinked. Spark plugs look like there is some carbon buildup, probably from the turbo seals.
