Ok here we go...i just did a 6 bolt swap on my car. i am using my 2g head with the 6 bolt block and running HKS 272/264's. The car was running fine aside from the dipstick blowing out continuosly, and when i check my oil (it was late and i had a long week) i couldnt see anything on it except at the bottom so i figured it was low so i added a quart of oil...ended up having too much oil. Drove home from my friends with the car smoking like woah and drained the oil and refilled it. Now i have smoke pouring out of my valve cover and when i did a compression test i have 150 on 3 cylinders and 0 on number 2.

Ive heard that too much oil can blow out your valve seals is this true? Head gasket maybe? Any help would be appreciated im stumped as to how 3 cylinders are good one bad and my car goes from running fine to running like ass. thanks

how would i be able to tell if i have a bad ring by taking the head off? And too much oil can blow a ring?

too much oil will not blow a ring.I would check the pcv valve.if no compression in only one cylinder that means bad head gasket or burnt valve.valve seals dont blow they get hard and break.it is possible the valve seal went south and the oil is dumping into the cylinder causing it to smoke but with no compression something else is wrong.Im thinking burnt valve.

Burnt valve will not cause exhaust in the crank case, unless it copletely fell out of the seal.

Pop the dipstick and see if there is a lot of smoke coming from there as well.

As would be able to tell by nasty scratches on the cylidnerwall, and edge of the piston may show signs of meltdown (depending on what caused the ring to blow).

Well i took the head off and theres a hole in the piston...dont know why but thats the problem
