smoke under load

Help SOn's car starts smokeing under load while shifting next higher gear. If drive on level ground and no load its somewhat ok. it smokes a whitish color. Motor was rebuilt awhile ago. Car has been sitting awhile due to new car bought and such. Could this be a waste gate not working ?

How long has it been sitting?
Did it just start doing this, or was it doing it before it sat?
Bad gas maybe?

Just started doing it. It stares smokeing and want sot cut out?? sometimes does..

Its under load. Idels fine in Driveway
